It's possible in my other life I was a t-shirt merchant.....So, here I go again, asking ALL Choral Dynamics members past and present if you would like to buy a t-shirt. This isn't just any shirt. This is a shirt that sends a very important message. The graphic on the shirt says "Team Ruehmer Rocks!" and "Go Terry", but it really sends a message to Terry and Melissa that says: "we are thinking of you, we are praying for you, and we are fighting with you". My goal is to have as many people as possible wear them on our first night of rehearsal in February...a rehearsal I am hoping Terry can be at.
Here are the rest of the details. I will place the order if you send me your size. I will pick up your shirt and you can pay me when you get it from me. GoVanGogh says they will be less than $7.00 depending on how many I order. I'll give you the exact amount when you pick up your shirt. It doesn't get any easier than this. Send me your size at my email: jpiper261@gmail.com or using the "Contact Us" link above. Make sure to include your name. I'll even mail you your shirt if you pay postage. I don't have a deadline for ordering exactly. We'll see how the orders come in, but probably mid-January will be my cut off.

Have you wished you could do something for Terry, but just didn't quite know what to do? Well....here it is, do this.

Choral Dynamics has been chosen by Cherry Street Brewing Company to be the recipient of their "Charity Tuesday" on December 20 from 11:00am to 9:00pm. That means our group receives a percentage of sales for that day. So...lets get the word out to friends and family to come on down and enjoy some of the great food served there for a great cause. I can personally vouch for their famous Mud and the roast beef on pretzel bread. Those are my two favorites but the menu is huge! OK everyone, get your appetites ready. Thank you Cherry Street!

It is show week and Choral Dynamics, while getting ready to present another great show, has gotten some sad and discouraging news. Our director, Terry Reuhmer has just been diagnosed with cancer. So, here's the plan:
1. We the singing chorus, get our music ready to perform better than we EVER have before.
2. We put on a show that represents all of the coaching, teaching, and patience Terry has given us since we started in August and WOW the audience.
3. Most importantly, we invite all readers of this blog, all past and present Choral Dynamics members, and all of Galesburg to join us in praying for Terry as he embarks on a very difficult battle with cancer. Join us in the fight.
TEAM RUEHMER ROCKS!

OOps! I forgot to give the time for lining up. The parade begins at 2:00pm. They ask that groups be in place by 1:45. You can arrive as early as 12:00....but who would do that? So, see everyone around 1:30 to 1:45 on Sunday. Wear your Christmas colors!

I'm happy to report that the mailman just delivered the information we need for this Sunday's Annual Christmas Parade! We have been told to assemble our group on Chambers Street at the small sign post labeled "30". A dedicated Choral Dynamics elf is coming tomorrow to help me open and rebag a mountain of candy and insert show fliers in our cheery candy bags. We gotta a lotta candy!!! Come one come all on Sunday November 20 and help us make a lot of kids smile and create some buzz about our show.
